Rates for a move by De Meubeltaxi
Our rates are structured as follows:
- €120 starting fee per mover
- €60 per mover per hour
- €150 starting fee 19m3 moving truck
- €1 per kilometer between loading address and unloading address per 19m3
Our rates include 21% VAT. On Saturdays, there is a 25% surcharge on Sjouwfeur costs.

How much does my move cost?
As mentioned, every move is customized. By requesting a quote here, we can provide you with a fixed price, so you'll know exactly what to expect. However, we can give you an indication of what to expect per service level:
- Budget move starting from €750 – 2 movers can move the largest furniture for you in 3 hours.
- Medium move starting from €2,000. – 4 movers can complete a move from ground floor to ground floor in 5 hours.
- Premium move starting from €4,000 – 6 movers can complete your entire relocation, including assembly work, in one day.
What are the costs of a move?
Moving is customized work. Of course, we will put everything in order for you. The following factors influence the total moving price:
- The size of the inventory; how many cubic meters is it?
- The characteristics of the inventory; many boxes, many large furniture items, objects with an unusual shape, items prone to damage?
- The circumstances; is there a lot of stair climbing involved, is it a long distance to walk?
- Special objects; a heavy bed, a huge wardrobe, an artwork.
- Moving moment; end of the month is always busy, mid-month you can often get a discount.
- What are you doing yourself; packing, assembly, are you going to help during the move?
- Driving distance between your old and new home.
- City center; sometimes permits are required to block the road or keep parking spaces clear, for which the municipality charges fees.
- Special equipment; the use of a moving lift or crane.

Customize a moving Package bt yourself
If you know what you want, you can customize your moving package yourself. You indicate how much loading space you need and how many Sjouwfeurs for how many hours. If it turns out on moving day that you have underestimated, we can stay longer if our schedule allows. The additional costs are then €80 per hour. Because you save us work by selecting a moving package, we offer you a 10% discount on the rates.
Please note the following:
- Our movers won't spend the whole day climbing stairs if a moving lift can be used.
- We don't carry washing machines up the stairs with the customer; still, it's possible to assemble a moving package with 1 mover.

- Verhuislift voor het 1e uur €175. Voor 3 uur €300 en ieder uur daarbij €100 extra.
- Hijskraan inzet vanaf €500

- Aanvragen ontheffing €50 (exclusief de kosten voor de leges)
